The animatronic Christmas Chewbacca from HD is lots of fun, but out of the box it looks a little ragged. A wide tooth comb and a cheap detangling spray was used to brush it out. I didn't add the x-mas ornaments, as I wanted it to look authentic. I also decided to lower the left arm. To do that, I removed and bent the arm link so it points down. That's when I discovered it's about 5 inches shorter than the right arm (partly from the bend, but mostly to make it lighter and easier to wave around). So, I cut the link at the middle of the forearm and glued on an extension tube to connect the two ends. The fur suit easily accomodates the extra length.
